Welcome to the website of Sweet Moments Photos by Mumtaz Chaudhry. I am a Phoenix AZ based wedding photographer, specialising in ethnic South Asian weddings. I am passionate about creating beautiful images of your day, that tell a story in the context of your culture. When I shoot South Asian weddings and other events I am very aware of what makes this particular culture unique and how I can bring out the best for your special day. I have a great eye for detail, for capturing emotion and the sweet moments that you will cherish for a long time.
I am also a portrait photographer I photograph families, children, babies and seniors both in my studio in North Phoenix and on location. I have special hand painted portrait backgrounds that contain Mughal architectural details, to give your portraits that ethnic look and setting.
I have studied photography at Phoenix College and Scottsdale Community College. I have also had bridal portrait training from a well known photographer in Lahore.
I am also a destination photographer and am available for Indian, Pakistani and Middle Eastern weddings all over the US and Canada. For Muslim weddings, I offer special privacy arrangements for ladies who wear hijab. Email me for more information.
Due to privacy concerns of my clients you will not see too many photos of actual brides on my website. The ones that are there are models who have agreed to let me display their photos.
